1 How do I proceed with booking?
Search on our website the departures and the dates which you are interested in. While navigating, we guide you step by step how to proceed with booking.
2 How do I pay for my tickets?
Once the booking is finalized, the system shows the total cost and guides you on how to proceed with payment. We accept all cards (Visa, Master, Amex) and PayPal.
3 Do I receive a confirmation of booking and payment?
When the reservation is finalized, a confirmation email with all booking data and a bank transaction receipt will be emailed to you. Please make sure you have entered your email address correctly while making the booking.
4 I have not received a booking confirmation
If you have provided us with your right email address and the confirmation has not reached you, please also check your junk & spam folders in your email, just in case.

5 I can’t find a route
Maybe this departure is not available or not released yet. Please contact us at info@ferries.gr and we will be happy to assist you.
6 How can I get my tickets?
All ferry companies for international routes and domestic routes (to Greek islands and Greek mainland), provide a P.T.A. ticket. (Paid in Advance), which you can collect before departure at the local port agency. There, you need to show your I.D. or passport and the reservation codes which will be on your cnfirmation email.
E-ticket - Web Check-in
- If your selected ferry company offers an e-ticket option QR-Code, your confirmation email will also include your e-ticket, and or information on how to proceed with web check-in and get your e-tickets.
In that case all you need to do is print it out the web check-in confirmation (or save it on your mobile device) and present it upon embarkation.
- For Adriatic lines and Turkey lines, it is necessary to check the travel documents at the port office BEFORE boarding the ship.
7 Do you offer Web Check-in / E-Ticket?
When you book online, web check-in / e-ticket ability is marked with QR-Code, to each shipping company offering this service. A few of them do not support web check-in / e-ticket so you need to print your tix at the local agent. In any case, you will find the appropriate web check-in link or your e-ticket attached, and or the tickets pickup points, at the bottom of your booking confirmation email.
8 Can you post me my paper tickets?
If you want your tickets posted to you, we offer the following shipping options:
- Courier within Greece - €9 (1-2 working days for delivery)
- Courier rest of Europe - €25 (2-3 working days for delivery)
- Courier USA, Other Countries - €29 (3-4 working days for delivery)
- Express Register Post - €15 (15-20 working days for delivery)
9 Can you post the tickets to my Hotel of stay in Greece before my arrival ?
Yes, we can post them to your hotel. We will need to know your check-in date and under which name is your hotel booking.
10 How long before departure do I need to be at the port?
At least two (2) hours for International routes and one (1) hour for Domestic trips in advance .
11 What types of cabins ferry companies provide?
On board there are several types of outside (with window or porthole) and inside cabins for one, two, three and four passengers.
12 I am Traveling alone can I have a cabin only for myself ?
Yes, you can book an one bed cabin just for yourself.
13 How many days before my trip should I make a reservation ?
We advise you to book at your earliest convenience, especially if you travel during the high and peak season (May to September), due to limited availability
14 Are pets allowed on board?
-ATTENTION-
Registration of details of companion animals travelling on passenger vessels on the routes from/to Greece and Greek islands. We inform you that in the context of the implementation of Law 4830/2021 "New framework for the well-being of companion animals - Program "ARGOS" and other provisions", passengers travelling with pets must necessarily fill in the "Pet Travel Declaration Questionnaire", which is in effect as of today, Friday 23/09/2022, and hand it over to the ship's Chief Accountant upon boarding along with their ticket. The owners or guardians are required to have their pets’ valid health documents with them while travelling (EU citizens are additionally required to have their EU Pet Passport), to follow all entry regulations and to be responsible for their care, safety and hygiene during the journey. For all cats, dogs and ferrets a valid rabies immunization document is mandatory.
15 Can I Change or cancel a ticket

16 Can i get an invoice/receipt for my booking?
According to the Greek Law, your ticket is a formal receipt. That’s why you need to keep your coupons after checking in.

17 How long after the time of arrival at the port it is safe to schedule my flight.
There is no common answer for all cases. However, for flights departing from Athens (El. Venizelos Airport), it is advisable to allow at least four (4) hours from the estimated time of arrival at the port to the time of departure of the flight.
For arrivals at intermediate ports where the transit time from the port to the airport is usually much shorter, it is advisable to allow at least 2-3 hours.
