The Turkish ferry company Turyol connects Greece with Turkey by operating the route Mytilene - Ayvalik - Mytilene. The shipping company was officially developed in 1993, after starting with the transport of a few passengers with 2 small boats and today consists of 70 vessels and 60 of them are available for scheduled passenger service.
