Ferries to the small Cyclades depart from Naxos, whose port is situated in the heart of the island, and Amorgos island, which has two ports, named “Katapola” and “Aegiali”.
“Katapola” is located in the center of Amorgos and is the main port of the island while “Aegiali” is located in the northern part of the island. There are daily morning crossings from both Naxos and Amorgos islands to Donoussa, Schinousa and Iraklia, operated by the conventional ferries of “Blue Star ferries” and “Mikres Kyklades” companies.
As for the crossings to Koufonissia, they are operated with both highspeed (Sea Jets) and conventional ferries of “Blue Star ferries” and ‘’Mikres Kyklades’’.
From Naxos to Donoussa the duration of the trip is about 1,5-4 hours.
As for Schinousa, it takes about 2 hours to get there. For Iraklia the trip duration is 1,5 hour.
The trip duration to Koufonissi from Naxos is 30’-2,5 hours.
The ferry from Amorgos to either Donoussa or Koufonissi takes about 40’-2,5 hours to arrive.
As for Schinousa it takes 1,5-4,5 hours until the ferry reaches its destination.
Regarding Iraklia the trip duration is approximately 1,5-4,5 hours.
