Ferries to Santorini depart from two ports, Piraeus and Rafina.
The ones that depart from Rafina port are usually highspeed ferries, while Piraeus port offers both highspeed and conventional ferries.
Departures start from 7am, some of them are at midday and there are also a couple evening crossings.
The duration of the trip depends on selected type of ferry, as highspeed ferries (Sea Jets and Golden Star ferries) reach the port of Santorini in approximately 5 hours.
In case you prefer a steadier pace, you may choose Blue Star ferries, Zante ferries, Sea Speed ferries or Aegeon Pelagos where the trip duration is about 8 hours.
Santorini is one of the most romantic places on Earth, widely known for its dramatic view and stunning sunsets. Its distinctive feature is the geological structure, which is due to the activity of the volcano.
Santorini is the perfect place to unwind and have a dreamy holiday.
The marina is located in the small village of Athinios, from where you can reach the capital of the island called Fira by bus, taxi, rental car/moto or even your own vehicle.
In Fira you will also get the chance to have a unique experience on exploring the island, the traditional way by riding a donkey.
While on board you will be able to enjoy the ride at the lounges, restaurants or even wander around the shops.
In case you are travelling with a vehicle keep in mind that most of the ferries have a garage space though some of the smaller highspeed ferries do not transport vehicles.
During the trip you will have the opportunity to enjoy the few minute stops in other islands such as Paros, Naxos and Ios. On some ferries you will also have the advantage to appreciate the breathtaking view right on deck.
From Santorini port you will easily be able to visit other spectacular islands such as Mykonos, Crete, Milos, Sifnos, Amorgos, Ios and several others.
