MINOAN LINES was founded in 1972 in Heraklion, Crete and currently is one of the largest shipping companies in Europe.
During those decades, they created a fleet of both conventional and highspeed vessels , by aiming on their passenger’s safety and comfort on trips within Greece and abroad.
On the company's ferry boats, passengers may enjoy Wi-Fi services, spa, fitness center, conference center etc. and above all, the service provided from their highly trained personnel.
MINOAN LINES has been a member of the large GRIMALDI GROUP family since 2008.
The Company manages eight ultra-modern ferries which operate the routes PIRAEUS - HERAKLION - PIRAEUS, PIRAEUS - CHANIA - PIRAEUS, ANKONA - CORFU - IGOUMENITSA and ANCONA - PATRAS.
They also expanded their activities on the routes Piraeus and Heraklion to Cyclades (Piraeus - Athens, Syros, Tinos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Santorini, Heraklion - Crete and v.v.), with the high speed catamaran vessel "Santorini Palace" and on the Piraeus - Crete line, sailing to Heraklion and Chania (Souda Port) with the modernized cruise ferries "Knossos Palace", "Festos Palace" and "Kydon Palace".
Furthermore, during summer period, the cruise ferry “Kydon Palace” operates on the Piraeus - Milos - Chania line.
